I was well into my 20’s when I tried kale for the first time. I mean, I used it in a juice recipe, does that count? These days, I use this Quick Citrus Kale Recipe and call it a day. This recipe is so simple, that I kept going back and forth, should I share it? Everyone obviously knows this combo/recipe, right? …but then I remembered that I had never really cooked or liked kale myself, until I made it this way, and here we are.
If you have ever bought a bunch of kale, only to see it slowly dwindle and die at the bottom of your fridge crisper drawer…I have a simple solution for you: buy a pre-chopped bag like the one pictured below and use it within a day of buying it! It’s simple really, use those perishables asap, because your just composting your money otherwise.
